During the pay dispute the Sun newspaper made some vicious acts on Fire-fighters. As a result the FBU asked for it to be banned from fire stations.
In the aftermath of the Camberwell Fire, the Sun, put its attempt to sell newspapers above the truth and was highly critical of the role that Fire-Fighters played. This has lead senior regional officials to reiterate the call for the Sun to be banned from fire stations.
